The Opportunity
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Department. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. What You’ll Do
- Assist with preparing financial documents like invoices, bills, and reports
- Manage daily banking activities and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Process employee expense reports and ensure policy compliance
- Prepare and coordinate bank deposits and reconciliations
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payments
- Assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting and budgeting
- Maintain organized financial filing systems
- Support year-end closings and audits
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Finance team
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- A Diploma in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial principles
- A strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and financial management
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- A keen eye for detail and a highly organized work style
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
